5 Step Process
From fabric selection to final fitting — here's exactly what to expect when you order custom suits, bespoke suits, or a custom tuxedo in Houston at BLU Fine Menswear.
Select Fabric
Your clothier will sit down with you as an expert consultant to help guide you through the fabric selection process based on your type of garment you want. Custom suits, tuxedos, slacks, shirts, blazers, and more. Over 4,000 fabrics available to choose from in the BLU Design Studio — Houston's largest custom menswear fabric selection.
Design Garments
This is the fun part! Your clothier will engage technology to put it up "on the big screen" as he guides you through the visual design process of each garment on the computer. From lapel shape, pocket angles, lining style to button and thread color — this process will create the ultimate in personalization for each of your custom suits or bespoke garments.
Get Measured
Due to the fact that we are cutting a pattern that fits you and only you, we take a lot of measurements! This is also the time when we will ask you questions about how you prefer your garments to fit and feel. Every custom suit Houston clients receive is cut to their exact body.
Garments Made
After your payment is processed, it's time for the tailor team to get to work! After a few short weeks, you will receive an email invitation to come try on your new garments!
Final Fitting
At your final fitting, you will try on all of your new garments to make sure everything fits as expected. If there are any adjustments necessary, our tailors will take care of that in 2–3 days.
